The CD-ROM contains a searchable database with more than 1,000,000 CDs
and 2,500,000 songs aggregated from 12 countries:
Australia, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy,
Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the USA.
All music styles are represented, except classical.
The database contains all CDs we have ever learned about; both those
currently available and also out-of-print titles (appropriately marked, of course).
This fact alone makes CDI on CD-ROM an invaluable reference tool
for anyone in need of comprehensive information, in one place and quickly accessible.
System requirements: The program runs in full-screen mode
under Windows XP/2000/NT4/Me/98/95/3.1 or DOS.
Any IBM-PC or compatible manufactured after 1995 will run it.
Mac & Unix users: Please read our
FAQ
for available program emulations possibly allowing
you to run CDI on CD-ROM on your machine.
Windows Me users: This version of Windows is known
for poor selection of available hardware drivers.
Depending on what printer you are using and the availability of
an updated driver for Windows Me, this may affect your ability to print
from our program. Everything else will function normally.
Please note only the printer manufacturer can
remedy this problem by providing you an updated printer driver.
