The book has the standard 8-1/5 x 11 in. size and weighs almost 4 lbs. It has 1,152 pages and a cover price of $39.95.

Because of its easy-to-use tabular design and comprehensive listings, the "Big Book" is the favorite reference tool of countless collectors and music executives.

The Guide is published annually, but it was in a brief hiatus between 1998 and now. This was caused by a combination of skyrocketing paper prices and our emphasis on CDI on CD-ROM. But never fear: We intend to bring the Guide back as quickly as possible, with the next printing tentatively scheduled for late 2004.
